As a part of Wicked Minds – a for-purpose research team – I was challenged to help develop a new method to help young people talk about the indirect side effects of drug use. To do this we used Kees Drost’s Frame Innovation method.
Our journey led us to find answers regarding trust in information, discipline and it’s link to rituals, and building a safe environment for vulnerability between complete strangers. We spoke to people on the street, an Aikido master and a drag queen, each experts in their fields, in pursuit of answers. This culminated in a board game; “Off-limits”. Through this game we helped strangers open up about difficult topics.
I personally helped design our research methods, the look and mechanics of “Off-limits” and was responsible for the animated sections of our visual report, as seen above.
